When I was at university, I had a great lecturer who, when introducing a new topic, would give us a brief history lesson. He would be able to captivate the room with tales of scientific discovery and the occasional Shakespearean monologue. While these didn’t excite everyone in the room, I loved these moments of learning for learning’s sake. This series tells the tales of the biomedical sciences over the years. Here’s hoping you enjoy these stories as much as I do.
